Our history

My name is Mercedes Esposito, a Peruvian crafter with a passion for our cultural tradition.

All our organic handcrafted Alpaca accessories, cotton clothing, and gifts are made by today's artisans in Peru. These craft persons of today are rooted in the past, and learned their skill from the ancestors who trained future generations, literally for 1000's of years.

Inspiration and mission

In tribute, in 2009, INKA ARTS, LLC was created, inspired by all these beautiful handcrafted items. I decided to make introducing the entire world to this singular artform. I travel to Peru and scout the markets their to bring back the best of the best in clothing and accessories.

As a result, I am proud to market and sell these indigenous, organic products in U.S.A. and around the world. In bringing these goods to the world, I am proud to also be opening the doors to many good artisans looking for meaningful ways to provide for their families.

INKA ARTS, LLC, commitment is buying directly from artisans and creators paying them fair and livable prices for their creations. We honor our contribution to the preservation of their cultural tradition, dignity while improving their life style, avoiding mass production and preserving their uniqueness and authenticity.

MY MOTTO

“Buy authentic. Feel good”  is my way to giving back to Peru, the beautiful and ancient place where I grew up . “THE LAND OF THE INCAS” although rich in history, and natural resources is still a poor and under-developed country.
